Will my child be behind if he/she starts late?
The curriculum for most of our class offerings is structured in a way that children can join at any time. The one exception to this is our Young Child Class (Ages 6-7), it is recommended that those be taken sequentially.

What do you DO in class?
Our activities for our babies and toddlers include a variety of activates including: singing & rhyme, listening games, vocal plays, parent-child bonding exercises, musical instrument exploration, story time, and child relaxation practices. For our older age group (6-7years) we explore voice development, rhythm, notation, musical symbols and authentic pre-keyboard, string and woodwind instruments.

How does the program work?
We provide a musical environment that invites a developing musical disposition, but most importantly, nurtures the development of the whole child, as well as the relationship between the child and their caregiver. Kindermusik classes provide the foundation for a child’s learning and development in many areas including physical, emotional, cognitive, language, social, and, of course, musical. The Kindermusik curriculum provides a pressure-free, developmentally appropriate transition to musically succeed before taking on more formal instruction.

But my child is very advanced, he/she should be in the older age group.
While our classes are categorized based on developmentally appropriate ages, we understand and celebrate each child’s individual journey. Please contact our studio for any questions regarding which class may be best for your family.

Do the kids use real instruments?
YES! We love all musical instruments. Each class introduces age appropriate instruments throughout the units.
