ILLNESS & Missed Class POLICY
COVID-19
When it comes to navigating COVID-19 risks and best practices, we are depending on our community of parents/caregivers to use their own good judgment in regards to what is best for their families and to stay abreast of the most current recommended safety precautions regarding COVID-19.
We will also be taking several safety precautions in order to support a healthy meeting place for in-person classes. First, please do not come to class if you, your child, or anyone in your household has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has any symptoms. Below is our current approach to maintaining a healthy classroom:
-
Masks: Because we’re a pop-up studio, each location requires slightly different mask usage related to their premise (depending on size, etc.). We ask that our families adhere to their specific location's requirements as we adhere to the building management policies.
-
Government Orders or COVID Cases: In circumstances where we must discontinue in-person classes and go virtual, please understand that there will be no refunds, discounts, or credits given. A virtual option will be made available for all classes.
-
Georgia Law: Any person entering the premises for a Kindermusik Class waives all civil liability against the premises owner and operator for any injuries caused by the inherent risk associated with contracting COVID-19 at public gatherings, except for gross negligence, willful and wanton misconduct, reckless infliction of harm, or intentional infliction of harm, by the individual or entity of the premises.
-
Personal Risk Assessment & Responsibility: Participants (whether paid enrollees or visitors) must fully realize, accept, acknowledge and understand the risks involved with attending class with Le Petite Debut, LLC and voluntarily assume all of the risks associated with such attendance, whether such risks are known or unknown. It is each guardian's responsibility to assess their own family's risk factors and make a decision regarding whether they can safely join a class with Le Petite Debut, LLC.
GENERAL ILLNESS
In an effort to keep our classroom and props germ-free, we ask that you keep your child home if they, or you, are ill or present any flu-like or Covid-19 symptoms. We continue to keep our environment as germ-free as possible by washing and hands as we enter. We also clean and sanitize instruments/props and the studio activity space after use.
MISSED CLASSES
We provide our families with digital at-home materials and album access so our students will be able to keep up with their unit at home when a class is missed. We do not issue refunds for missed classes at this time. If the teacher cancels due to illness or unexpected emergency, every effort will be made to reschedule the class at the discretion of the teacher, although this cannot be guaranteed.
If an outdoor class has to be canceled due to weather, a virtual option during the regularly scheduled class time will be hosted via Zoom. If families prefer to meet in person for a makeup class, they may also reserve a one-off "drop-in" spot (if space allows) in one of the alternative studio classes offered.
